Networking The Virtual Way - A Recap of Mad Marketing 2022

Welcome back! The TMA team hopes everyone had a great winter break and a happy new year. To kick off the year, we hosted our flagship networking event, Mad Marketing! 

Here’s to everyone who helped make the event a smashing success! Our team at TMA would love to thank all of the wonderful companies that made this whole thing possible. This amazing list includes Enterprise Holdings, myMarketing.io, Shopify, CLV, Cinnamon Toast, World Financial Group, Aga Khan Foundation Canada, Trend Micro, CrowdStrike and Welbi. We also appreciate all of the students who took the time out of their day to expand their professional network. In honour of Bell Let’s Talk Day, the support gave TMA the opportunity to donate all ticket proceeds to the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre! 

Our event took place on Kumospace, where all of our participants had the chance to rotate around different virtual tables. The participants had five minutes to chat with employers and practice their interview skills. They moved from table to table in a clockwise fashion, meeting with a new professional each time. The participants also had the chance to meet Telfer students and connect to their classmates beyond their university classes. To conclude the event, all of the participants were entered into a raffle and five lucky winners were chosen. 

Everyone at the TMA team would like to take one more time to thank everyone who participated in this year’s Mad Marketing event and everyone who made it possible. If you didn’t have the chance to participate this year, don’t worry!
